The 2017 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Grand Champions Cup is the seventh iteration of the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Champions Cup, which is a quadrennial international men’s volleyball tournament organized by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB). This year’s competition will be held in China (FIVB).

The previous competition saw Iran finish in fourth place, which was not good enough to earn them a spot on the podium. Iran has competed in the World Grand Champions Cup three times, and it has always finished in the bronze medal position each time.
The Men’s World Grand Champions Cup is played from September 12 through September 17 and involves a total of six teams competing in a round-robin competition. During its seventh iteration, the competition was held in both Nagoya and Osaka.
