Two Australians are putting the finishing touches on their preparations as the countdown to the World University Beach Volleyball Championships in Maceio, Brazil, heats up. The competition will take place later this month.

Jana Milutinovic and Kayla Mears are also scheduled to pair up for the competition, in addition to Caitlin Bettenay and Jasmine Fleming, who will represent Australia in the competition.

The beach volleyball competition at the FISU World University Championships 2022 is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 6, and continue through Saturday, September 10, in Maceio, Brazil. These championships are scheduled to take place in 2022.

Mears has expressed her excitement at the prospect of competing alongside Miluntinovic at her very first international event, and she has stated that she is looking forward to the opportunity to represent her country.

Mears stated that she was extremely ecstatic about the opportunity to compete at the World University Championships this week.

Because this is Jana and my very first time competing together in an international event, we are preparing to give it our absolute best shot.

She stated, “We’ve been training extremely hard over the past few months, and I can’t wait to step out on court and give it everything.” “We’ve been training pretty hard over the past few months.”

Mears, like the majority of professional athletes, has been seeking a career off the court while still practicing hard to achieve on the court. He has also been working through the problems of reconciling the two different paths in his life.

“Jana and I have been training full time for the past three months while also handling our university courses and work commitments,” Mears said. “We have been able to do all of this while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.”

“It’s fair to say that we’ve had some problems thrown at us, and it hasn’t been easy. Whether it’s been managing an injury or illness on top of everything else, it’s clear that we’ve had some obstacles thrown in our path.

“However, I am experiencing an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the chance that has been presented to me, and I am thrilled to be able to represent not only myself, but also my team and my country in Brazil.

She stated that the team’s objective is to perform at their highest level each and every day, both on and off the court.
